PERSONAL FINANCIAL LITERACY
Course OverviewThis Personal Financial Literacy course will introduce students to money and financial management concepts. Students will gain a basic understanding of financial terms, matters, and will develop skills that will prepare them to make sound decisions now and later in life related to acquiring, spending, saving, and investing money.

Flipped ClassroomThis course is designed using a Flipped Classroom format that allows students to engage in individual and exploratory learning at home, and enriched, active learning in the classroom. Students will access resources from home through the course website to complete assigned readings, and assignments. Classroom sessions will provide students the opportunity to interact one-on-one with the instructor and with peers . Individual and group activities will be conducted and will support lesson concepts introduced at home, proving deeper learning and understanding on course materials.
