Assignments
Each lesson will accompany assignments that will reinforce concepts learned. Assignments will include online simulation and worksheet exercises, and quizzes that students will complete at home. In the classroom, activities will be conducted to supplement content learned through practical application. Students should refer to the course lesson plan (located on the home page) for a tentative schedule of when assignments will be covered. In addition, students should also refer to the tentative schedule to gain an overview of classroom activities that will be conducted in the classroom.
Lesson Overview: In this lesson, students will gain an overview about money, what it is used for in society, how the value of money impacts our decision making, and a brief introduction on the role that banks play in the circulation of money.
ASSIGNMENTSLesson Overview: In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of what budgets are, why they are important, and the elements that make up a budget. They will learn how to use and create a personal budget.
